Mobile: How many appointments do you have left?

We're all getting down to the wire around here, especially those of us due the first week of August.

I'm high risk, so my number is abnormally high for being 35 weeks pregnant, but I've only got 12 appointments to go! And, that's IF I make it to my post-EDD appointment at 41 weeks. If not, I've only got 11. I remember when I had over 30!

How about you ladies?

Too many. Twice weekly NSTs, one growth scan, OB appt every other week that will prob go weekly soon, weekly blood draw.

I'm not going past 37w or 38w and I think it's still close to 10.

Last time w DS, I barely made it to my weekly appts before he was born at 37w. Since I was complication free, there was nothing additional at the end either.

I'll have four more if my 40 week appt is my last.  I'm at 32 weeks right now and my doctor office only makes appts every month until 38 weeks.  I'll have a 36 week, 38, 39, and 40 week appt.

6 or 7, depending on when I go from biweekly to weekly.  I'm being induced on my due date for medical reasons.

I also have two more growth ultrasounds.

Funny you should ask. I was just blocking off my work calendar. Due to going twice/week from here on out, I just booked 13 appts. Plus I'll have my GD follow up appts every two weeks which will add another 3... So 16 total. I'm so glad I switched OBs and hospitals before all this hoopla began. I know live 5 minutes away from her office/the hospital rather than a 30+ minute drive.

If it were just regular OB appointments, I have 6 left. Assuming that I go to the appointment that is the week of my due date. Since I have to go in for monitoring, that adds in 2 appointments every week plus an u/s every other week. So I'm guessing about 30 appointments total.

It drives me batty b/c nothing can get scheduled on the same day. My OB office and the hospital (where the monitoring & u/s are done) are right across the street from each other. I have to drive there 3-4 times a week. I don't know what I'd do if I worked a regular day job instead of nights. Luckily b/c of my schedule I don't miss any work.

 

ETA: for those that can't see my ticker, I'm 33w and my EDD is Aug 12th

6 left if I go 40 weeks but do to medical concerns with my low fluid my doctor said the baby may need to come at 38 week and that would mean 4 more appointments....scary! All I can do to avoid induction is sit in the pool or bath and doc says it will make the baby pee, therefore increasing the fluid....Pee babY Pee!

Only 4...unless I go past my EDD. Had one this morning after having a spell of contractions last night. She said everything looks great though and was not concerned. Whew! :

Never heard that before. What's the correlation between you sitting in water, and it causing the baby to pee. I'm sincerely curious, not trying to be rude...

That is beyond annoying! When I found out I had to go in for multiple monitoring sessions/week, I spent about 30 minutes on the phone booking everything together. They had to move some things, as did I, but we made it work so that I'm only going in to the office twice per week (even though actual appts are in the same range as you.) So sorry!

I was told yesterday I may get induced a month early due to some complications, so if that's the case, then I will obviously have less than the listed above!

I have 4 apts with my OB, and 8 NST's left.... I'm being induced at 37 weeks because of pre-e.... That just made it real!
