Kid Safe Bug Spray

My family and I are going to Alaska next week, where the mosquitoes are especially bad this time of year. What is the most effective "kid friendly" bug spray?

Our pedi said to use a clip on, or spray LO's clothes, and only apply to skin if neither of those work.  According to consumer reports Off For Family dry and smooth is rated the best.

We have some Off Family Naturals that we use most often, but if we are in the woods in the evening I use Off with 7% DEET. I only use the DEET stuff once a day, at most, at the time of day when the bugs are the worst.
