Most people don't like the name Charlie for a girl but I cant think of any girl names and daddy loves this one so unless 1 comes to mind in the next 3 months then Charlie it is?
Ditto the pp. definitely spell it correctly, Charlie.
Ps. I actually like Charlie for a girl, but it's definitely one of those names where she has to be pretty or have a strong personality or else it could be tough for a girl to carry.
Charlie should always be spelled Charlie, no matter the sex of the baby. If you want to use a boy nn, own it and spell it correctly.Charlotte, Charlize, Cara, Carly, Claire, Clara
Spelled Charlie. I love Charlie for a boy but dislike Charles. I could get behind girl nick named Charlie but feel like she'd need a !real! name to fall back on.
I can't tell but it seems like you're looking for suggestions on other girls names. Do you have any criteria on what you're looking for?
No really any criteria were going for just something we like. People say a girl name will come to me eventually. Your right it does sound like a nickname but I think she can hold it down as a first name. Thanks for your opinion on the spelling.
Ladies no thanks on charlotte or carlie or other C names I just don't like any of them. Charlie is a boy name but people now a days name they're baby helicopter pilot and alize. So thanks but as for now were going to stick with Charlie.
I work with a female Charley. She hates her name. It's bad enough it's already a male dominated field, but she gets all of her mail delivered to Mr. Charley Soandso, people call her and ask for Mr. Soandso, and will actually argue with her that she is not who they are looking for (and call her his secretary. True story). She hates it.
Just food for thought. Not every girl wants to be saddled with a boy name.
I know you said you don't want to go with Charlotte, but please reconsider. You can still call her Charlie the second she's born, and tell people that's her name, but at least give her the option later in life to be Charlotte. And if she still prefers to go by Charlie, no harm done. This would also help in people assuming the correct gender on legal paperwork.
As someone who has a nn for a legal name, seriously consider this, your daughter will thank you.
Re: WORDING?
Other suggestions: Shae, Quinn, Ryann, Morgan or Taylor?

True...but do you really want to lump yourself in with silly trends?
+1
Again, Joy is correct.
Do you not have any say in the naming of your child, OP? You said that the baby daddy loves it, so that's what it will be. NICE.
And I think what you're looking for is "SPELLING" not "WORDING." FFS.
