oh the itch!

Anyone else have ridiculous itchiness on your belly at the end of pregnancy? I've tried corti one, cocoa butter and eucerin lotions. They all feel great going on, but 5 minutes later I'm itchy again. It's so bad it hurts. Next Dr appt isn't until Friday but I might have to call them sooner if I can't find relief.
It doesn't help that all my clothes are tight I refuse to buy new stuff when I could deliver any day now.

Sorry for the whine. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Cold. Cover in ice. Take a cool bath, cold shower.
I had that last time and nothing helped. No fun. So sorry.

And if you are home, strip down. No point in making it worse with clothing.

I wish I could get nekkid and rub ice all over my belly. But alas I am still working have to look professional. Ugh.

One of the nurses at my Ob suggested I use benedryl cream. I left work and am now in comfy loose fitting clothes with my belly exposed. Cream applied. Guess we'll see how long it lasts.

Will Drs. write notes excusing a preggo lady from work for excessive itchiness and monster hemorrhoids?

I successfully rescheduled my appt to tomorrow afternoon and requested an internal. Will try to get excused from work.

This might be TMI but I think it's a funny story so I'm gonna tell it.

In an effort to get things moving DH and I have had sex a couple times recently. Since I am officially ginormous, doggy is really the only way we can go. Last night afterwards, DH said "I noticed you have a bit of a problem back there". Lol. Yeah I told him sorry he had to see that but there's not much I can do about it.
