White floaties in urine...

Has anyone else experienced white floaties in your urine?!?

This morning I have been freaking out because although it may have been toilet paper floating in the toilet, I saw two white flimsy looking things about an inch long each fliating in the toilet!!!

After going a second time, I still see tiny white specks.... Any advice?!

  • I have those a lot, pregnant or not. I have never asked my doc about it but I have had many urine tests and no one has ever expressed concern. If it worries you, mention it at your next appt but I doubt it's anything to be alarmed about.

  • Are you sure it's not cervical mucus? That increases when you're pg.

  • I'm truly hoping it was just toilet paper as they were pretty big in size and everything I read online points to mc! However, I have no bleeding and the few cramps I have are minor and probably just stretching!

Step away from Dr. Google.  Call your real doc.  If there is need for concern, they will help you through it.  And I only get the white floaties when I have a UTI, so there's that possibility too!

  • Could be normal discharge. There can also be floating specs when you have a UTI.  No burning sensation when urinating?
