Excited for baby number 2!

Hello all I am a mother of a beautiful 5 year old and as he passed over from being a toddler to a big kid last week my hubby and I got baby fever. When he was smaller we always thought we would try again around this age. So as the weeks go on we talked more and more about babies. So last week as I'm peeing at work I hear a "ping" that "ping" would be my mirena plunging into the toilet bowl! So yes although we were talking about ttc I hadn't even made an appointment to take my mirena out yet. So we decided to take this as a sign and decided to go right at it and ttc. It was all good for 3 days of baby making and then I started bleeding! Bleeding like a period. Does anyone have any experience with getting pregnant after mirena?

I would go talk to your doctor. Mirena isn't supposed to just fall out, so I would have a doctor check you out and make sure everything is ok. It's also just a good idea to have a general exam before ttc. Good luck!

Weird. Are you sure tge whole thing fell out? Have you been tugging on it or something?
Many of my friends got pregnant right away after mirena removal but every woman is different. Good luck.

Calm down ladies. They do just fall out. It happens. Hell mine broke. half of it came out, the other half lodged in my cervix.

You do need to see your doctor to make sure it came out all the way. While you are there have them address your concerns.

As PP's said, for sure get checked if it fell out.

 I had my mirena removed mid May, bled very heavily once it was removed. I thought it might be a period so I started charting as if it was. It wasn't, I didnt O and strated a real period 20 days later. However, my cycle does seem to be back to normal now. Its different for everyone, Good Luck with TTC!
