Hello ladies. I'm sorry you are all on this board, no one wants to be here!
I'm hoping this is potentially the right board for me. I've tried TTCAL and TTTC and haven't felt at home either place for a myriad of reasons.
I will be 30 in August and my son turns 2 in three short weeks. We've been trying for #2 for a year now and had a mmc in January. I've been diagnosed with PCOS and LP defect. My doctor has prescribed Clomid and I take my first dose today. I have an ultrasound and bloodwork scheduled for CD14.
IF stinks no matter the circumstances, but I am hopeful this is a place where you all can understand and relate to my feelings of sadness and failure at not being able to give my son a sibling.

Welcome to the board. I also tried one of the other boards and did not find support there, but I have found plenty of it here. I think you are in the right place.
I know exactly what you mean when you say you feel like a failure. That is exactly how I feel too. It is so hard when you are doing everything you can and it's still not working. I hope Clomid does the trick for you, and you get a quick bfp with it!
Me: 42. DH: 46.
1st Pregnancy: MC, 11/19/00.
2nd Pregnancy: DS born 04/10/06.
3rd Pregnancy: CP, 03/11.
4th Pregnancy: MMC, D&C 11/30/11, Genetic testing revealed Trisomy 4.
5th Pregnancy: Ectopic, 2 doses of Methotrexate unsuccessful, surgery 4/10/12, right tube removed.
Tried Letrozole January 2013-July 2013 (including 2 IUIs), all BFN. After 2 1/2 years of trying for child #2, decided to "give up" after July cycle, based on AMA.
August 16, 2013: BFP our first month of "not trying!" Still in shock. Beta #1 (14dpo): 183. Beta #2 (17dpo): 611. Ultrasound 8/30/13: baby measured 6 weeks, 1 day, heart rate of 118 bpm!
Ultrasound 9/13/13: 8 weeks, heart rate of 176!
Baby is due 4/26/14
After 3 failed Clomid+TI cycles, DD was conceived with IUI#1
TTC #2
Clomid 50 mg + IUI#1 = BFP, m/c and D&C at 7w1d
Clomid 50mg + IUI#2 = BFN
Clomid 100mg + IUI#3 = BFN
Lupron + Follistim + IVF#1 = 11ER, 10M, 10F, ET of 1 expanded BBA 5-day blast, 2 Frosties. BFP! Beta 10/13 = 264! Beta 10/15 = 702! EDD 6/21/14

Newbie here as well. I have a beautiful son who just turned 4, and it breaks my hear that my body is not cooperating in giving him a sibling. I feel your pain, and pains m that any of us have to go through this!
Been TTC #2 for about 10 months now, and I have a feeling I have low ovarian reserve. I just started the whole IF eval process...so I'm VERY new at all this terminology, tests, abbreviations, etc. It's all so overwhelming.
I wish you nothing but good luck with #2!!
