Babies: 6 - 9 Months

Pram Advice

I am after some advice. My daughter is now 7 months old. From when she was born we used a stroller that a friend gave us brand new. Being first time parents we thought that would be fine but it doesnt go flat down and its also quite deep and low so she cant see to much out of it either. It doesnt have much storage space and you cant move the handle either so you cant walk and see her. My daughter was a very bad sleeper when she was young so she has always been quite uncomfotable in the pram and had trouble sleeping in it and I never used at capsule at the start. Now having 1 child I know next time round I want to start with a capsule and have a pram so I can see her. I dont want to spend to much money because we dont have the extra. I am looking a buying a pram from target its on special in the toy sale catologe for 250 from 350, it has a handle that goes both ways it has more storage space and I can take the seat out and put a capsule in there and use at the start the only thing is the normal child seat doesnt recline all the way down flat but I figure that I would use the capsule for the first 6 months any way. Its the steelcraft strider you can also get a bassinet attatchment too. I am just after some advice if anyone has this pram or thinks if yoy use a capsule for the first 6 months does the seat after that need to recline. Sorry about the big story :

Re: Pram Advice

  • My friend has a Hauck stroller. It has a basic frame that you switch attachments as the child gets older (all attachments were included). Goes from snap n go style, to putting a bassinet on, to a regular stroller. Also included a stand for using the bassinet in the house. Pretty cool, and the bassinet is perfectly flat, whereas the stroller part is adjustable.
