Bleeding after sex?

Is it common to bleed after sex? I am just a little over 5 wks pregnant.

    Yes it is.  My Dr. said to hold off on sex during your first trimester.  I'm not sure if every doctor says that.  It's very frustrating but I'm def. waiting.  I don't like going through that scare and worrying something is wrong.

    We haven't seen our doctor yet and we won't for another 2 weeks. I feel bad for DH because he's been so neglected since we started our the IUI process. I was terrified to have sex because I didn't want to mess anything up for me and the baby. So far I haven't had any bleeding which I hope that continues.
