5 days from today I am headed to Sin City kid free! I will not see my LO for a week. Let the flaming begin! Also, anyone else have a Saturday confession?

Nice! Enjoy! Are you going with DH or your girlfriends?

If you truly want a flaming you're going to post something at least remotely interesting
This. Is it really flameworthy to leave your kid for a few days? I do this every few months.
I'm not leaving LO for a few days. I'm leaving her for a week...
I'm still not batting an eye at that one and would side eye anyone who would. I guess that's MY FFC. My other FFC is that I had two beers and a margarita today and now I'm curled up on the couch while DH handles childcare. But the only one who should flame me for that is DH. :P

A real ffc, my dd is almost 3 and I have never left her with anyone except her daddy, and then it was still just a couple of hours:/
I don't know how moms can do that. I need a break sometimes. But, I'm really laid back about most things.
I really do need a break. I have horrible anxiety that that I have been ignoring and not getting help for. I know I really should especially since we have a 2 week old now too.
We are staying at my sister's house this weekend. For the first time ever, her house isn't spotless. In fact, it's quite messy. She has a 14 month old. The flameful part is that i'm actually happy. She always seemed to do it all and it's nice to see that she can't.

Do you have anyone willing to sit? Is it purely anxiety? Please leave her at least with your H so she gets that awesome father daughter time she deserves and you get the break you deserve.
Honestly, it's so many different things. Part of it is stuff that happened when I was a kid, some of it is when someone says anything about keeping her for me I panic and start running through all the awful things that could happen to to her while I'm not there.
She does get some daddy daughter time. He is an amazing father and I have no qualms with leaving her with him.
MIL wants to take Rosiefor a whole month. We're debating about letting her.
That's crazy.
I know, which is why I'm on the fence.
It's bizarre that it would even occur to her to ask... Short of someone having a terminal illness or battling with drug addiction/mental health issues I don't understand why that would even come to anyone's mind.
She said she wanted to potty train Rosie. She told us that was the amount of time she would need to potty train her.

I could never leave DD for a whole month but hey, if the opportunity presents itself, take it!
I'd still see her like every day when we go for walks and MIL lives 2 miles away. She just wants her for a month to help us with potty training.
Oh ok, gotcha! I thought you wouldn't see her for an entire month. Didn't realize your MIL lived so close
Yup, she already takes Rosie once a week overnight and we go on walks all the time. She loves going over to MIL's. She calls it "her" house.
