Well, kind of new. I have been a SAHM for the past year. I have two daughters, 2.5 and 6 months old. DD2 is EBF right now, but I do have about 70 oz of BM stored away, and will continue pumping while at work. I have enjoyed every minute of being with them, but am also really excited to be working again.
When it was just DD1, I spent the first about year and a half of her life working and going to school, so I think I'll transition pretty well. Although, DH is a mechanic, and just got told he is getting sent out of town to work/live for the next two months, so I'll feel a lot like a single parent. He had to last year as well, for four months, and although it was 16 hours away instead of 2, I felt it was manageable because it was only one child to take care of, and I wasn't working.
So we'll see how it goes! Any advice would be so appreciated!
I honestly just can't wait to have more conversations than why we can't watch four hours of My Little Pony every day. Or ever, in fact.
