Scratching and bruising

How often does your 9 month old get scratches and bruises? LO spent time this week with MIL, SIL, my mom, and my dad, because we are in a DC transition. He has several scratches and bruises on his arms and legs. He is very mobile and often pulls himself up, then falls down, will pull toys out of his basket on top of himself, etc. I totally trust all these caregivers but am wondering if this is normal, or if I should remind them to watch him carefully to be sure he's not falling excessively.

It sounds like pretty normal behavior to me, but a cautionary reminder might not be a bad idea either.

My LO hasn't bruised at all but lots of scratches, more from her own nails than other things though. I'd say it's normal though in general. I agree a cautionary reminder about watching so to avoid overly hard falls can't hurt.
