1st night w/o pacifier=hell

Last night was Nora's first night without her "bink."  We lost the last one somewhere in my mom's driveway, so I figured there was no choice...we were done.  Nora went to bed pretty easily without it last night.  She was up a few minutes later crying for it, but after I rocked her she was fine.  At 4:30 am, she awoke screaming for it.  I could NOT get her to go back to sleep--not in her bed or mine.  So, we ended up on the couch watching extremely early morning news.  Gah.  So many people told me it was easy to get rid of the pacifier.  Not for us.  Now it's coming up on nap time.  I'd just about bet anything that she's not going to sleep at all.  Must.Stay.Strong.

  • Stay strong! The worst is over. It will only get easier. By this time next week she wont even remember her paci
  • OMG, I am so scared for the day there is no more pacifier for DS.  He is so attached to it, I know it is going to be torture to end the love affair.

Stay strong....iin a few days it will all be over and she will be bink free and happy.
