Jumper?

LO is 3.5 months and I am thinking about getting her a jumper. Did your LO like the jumper and which one do you have? How long are they entertained before wanting to do something else?

DS loved his Fisher Price Rainforest Jumperoo. We would put him in there for about 1/2 an hour a day. Anything longer than that can cause hip issues.

We have a Baby Einstein one.  DD loved it and would sit in it for probably 15-20 minutes before needing to do something else.  She'll still tolerate it for a little while but she's not that into it anymore.  I think we'll be putting it away soon.

DD went bananas in her Fisher Price Rainforest Jumperoo.  I didn't put her in there for more than about 15 minutes but they had one at daycare and would leave her in there for as long as she was happy - which was probably WAY longer than I would have

FWIW, I purchased ours off craigslist for half price and it is in perfect condition.

DD2 still uses a jumperoo for about 15 minutes a day, but LOVES her jolly jumper, and throughout the day, uses it for about 1-1.5 hrs.

DD loves her jumper. She uses it for 15 to 20 minutes at a time. Now that she's mobile I sometimes use it to contain and entertain her while I shower. We started using it around 6 months I think?

My son got a jolly jumper in a stand for Christmas so he was about 3 1/2 months when he started it. He absolutely loved it! and it was so adorable to watch how happy he was in it!! He would cry when we would take him out of it. I haven't put him in it much the last month or so as he is crawling and walking along furniture so his interest I guess started to wane around 8 1/2 months. I haven't packed it away yet but the last two times I put him in it he cried right away but it was near bedtime too. I'm pretty sure though he has outgrown it as he would rather move around on his own. So, I guess we got a solid 5 months out of it. He has a baby einstein jumper/exercauser thing and he loves that too. He still jumps in that and will go in it for a good hour as a "rest" from the crawling.

baby einstein.  bought it used for $30. look on cl there are tons out there for cheap.  He lost interest the moment he started pulling himself up.  He loved it one minute and hated it the next.  It was great for a couple of months though.
