Is what DD1 insisted when DH told her she couldn't go down and play in the yard while he was grilling dinner. 

She got very huffy with him.

I was so proud. I'm not sure we've heard this from her before, and definitely not so emphatically.

That is so awesome!

I remember being thrilled the first time my 7 y.o. tried to lie to me. It was such a surreal moment to be proud of something like that.

I still giggle a little bit thinking about the hair tosses, nose in the air, and "hmph!"ing that was going on.
