Hubby loves the name Savannah, and I really like it as well. I still don't feel like it's 'the one' though. The only other name in consideration right now is Mia. I personally don't know a single Mia, but am being told that it's very popular right now. Votes between these two options so far...?

I like them both, but I'm leaning towards Savannah b/c it's different. What about Sienna?

If you are just looking for anecdotal evidence, I know one Mia that is a toddler.

Mia was #8 on the SSA for 2012.  That's pretty popular in my opinion. 

Popularity varies per state, so it could be lower in your state, or maybe you personally don't know a lot of babies or toddlers (or maybe you do-- only you know).

That being said, I slightly prefer Mia, but both names are lovely.

If you like Mia, have you considered Maya or Pia?  Both are considerably less popular.

Ironically I know four savanannahs and only two Mias. so.... they're kind of the same in popularity level as far as my aquantances go. I think it depends where you live.

I infinitely prefer Mia, but Savannah is ok too.

I prefer Mia. There's an adorable Mia who goes to DD's story time at the library

I only know 1 Mia whose actual name is Maria.  I'm not personally a fan on this name as a stand alone, but it's not bad.

Between the two, I prefer Savannah.  Other similar names:  Sienna, Sierra, Scarlett.

I work in a K-2 school and I can't even count the number of Mia's we've had in the past five years but I still think it's a great name.  It's definitely much more popular than Savannah if that really matters to you.

I don't know any Savannah's, I do know 2 Mia's, one is a DD's age and one is still in the Belly. But personally Savannah is NMS, so I would go with Mia....Mia is beautiful!
