And BD is a no-show without a reminder...

For mobile bumpies: And BD is a no-show without a reminder.

BD, DH, and I are attending a parent-only behavior modification class for parents of toddler/preschool children with ADHD. It is an 8 week class meeting on Wednesdays from 4:30-6. I have texted and emailed BD the dates, time, and location. The two weeks when I sent a reminder text the morning of and BD asks what time the class is and where it's at. The third week he doesn't respond, and shows up on time. So, yesterday, I didn't send a reminder text. I'm not his mom or his wife, I don't think I should have to. Guess what? He didn't show up.

I'm not surprised, but I'm still annoyed. Oh well.

  • I'm a micro manager... I would be tempted to send a passive aggressive e-mail or text. I'd probably decide not to in the end, but this is where my mind goes when crap like this happens. :-(

Ditto.  I would be so tempted to send him a text saying "Since you missed today's appointment, I'll email you the notes I took so that you can be prepared for the next appointment.  Will you be able to make that one?".  But I wouldn't actually send it, I'd just stew over it.

    I'm sorry he didn't show up  :(

  • I'd be pissed and call him out on it. But that could have something to do with the fact that I'm already pissed at my son's BD.....

I'm not going to lie, I contemplated sending something several times, I never followed through though. I wonder when he noticed he missed the class, and if he's going to say anything. He's supposed to pick DS up tomorrow for the weekend...
