I had to wait 6 weeks. It felt like forever BC I loooove the bath. You have to keep hour incision dry! I made sure to pat it dry after a shower and then I would use a blow dryer and dry the area. My Dr was surprised at how good it looked BC I'm a little bit overweight and have a pooch. She told me to be sure that I don't stay wet BC infections will occur.
I hope your DH gives you a well deserved rub and the weeks fly by for you

I just had an emergency csection on Wednesday night. I feel like crap right now, but I'm so glad a saw your post. I also have a pooch, and have been warned about keeping the incision dry. It's good to hear of somebody else who had a section go well because the thing I'm most terrified of right now is infection.
Re: Bath
i was told to wait until my 6 week check at least...you just don't want your incision to be soaking.
next best thing is to have a hot shower and let it just hit you in the back...that's what i did. then get a nice back rub from DH!
