My husband and I are getting ready to move to Germany in a couple of weeks (military.) The past two nights I've gotten less than 5 hours of sleep due to prepping the house for our movers. Everything was picked up today so I'm sitting in an empty house with a twin air mattress and a spare set of bedding. Keep in mind my husband and I are supposed to both sleep on this for two nights! Just laid down with him to try and take a nap and could not get comfortable. My legs and hands were going numb, my feet are killing me from being up constantly the last two days and worst of all a mutual friend of ours offered up her guest bedroom and queen size bed and my husband wants to stay here! I just want to sleep. Isn't moving overseas enough stress for one pregnant lady... Do we have to add a twin air mattress to the mix? Friday we drive home to visit family for a couple of weeks and then it's off to Germany. Pray I can get through the next month traveling and sleeping in hotel rooms, relatives houses, and on this God forsaken air mattress! </rant>
Ruth 1:16 - But Ruth replied "Don't urge me to leave you or to turn back from you. Where you go, I will go and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God.
Re: Moving vent
I think you should take the friend up on the queen bed and have it to yourself. At the very least, your H can let you have the mattress to yourself and he can sleep on the floor. He's used to sleeping in uncomfortable places with the military, right?
This exactly!
