IVF Cancelled Due to Elevated Estrogen :(

A little history:
DH & I started the TTC process Jan. 2010, after a year and no positive HPT's we went to an RE.  Blood work on me and and him plus an SA revealed we had MFI.  So, our only option is/was IVF w/ICSI.  18 eggs retrieved, all fertilized; 2 transferred, 5 frozen.

Our first cycle was a success and we now have a 16-month old adorable boy.

We went back in January for an FET, which was cancelled because I was so ill.  We tried again in March with a BFN.  We did another FET in May and another BFN.  So, we decided to go ahead with another IVF cycle.

Was on lupron, first baseline didn't go so well and today's 2nd baseline didn't go so well either.  So, I am cancelled.  Now I have to wait for AF and to call to start all over.  

 So disappointed and frustrated.  Ugh, this whole thing sucks!

There is no point to this post other than none of my friends and even DH doesn't understand.

Congrats on your sweet boy. I'm so sorry for the BFNs and the canceled cycle. I know that is so frustrating. FX the next cycle goes better.

I am so sorry! I had the same exact issue with elevated estrogen on CD3 when I was trying to start my FET cycle! It was so frustrating! I hope you can cycle soon.

Thank you all.  I feel very lucky to have the little boy I have.  DH and I always wanted a large family.  Unfortunately, I think we'll be stopping at 2 since all the treatments we need are OOP.

I am so sorry!  I know how you feel  We just had a BFN from a FET and I wanted to do one this cycle but it got postponed because the lab is having routine inventory or something like that.  People don't understand how IF can leave you feeling so helpless.  The only thing that calms me down is planning a cycle, so when that gets messed up, it can be beyond frustrating!!  The good news is that you were successful with your first fresh cycle, so I am thinking that this is just all part of the "big picture" plan for your precious LO#2.  (That's what I tell myself after the FET BFN.)  Good luck!!!

I'm sorry I can't even imagine 2 failed cycles and then having one cancelled. Between the costs and physical/emotional toll and of course I completely agree those who haven't gone through it don't understand infertility. I hope your next one is a success. Hang in there!

I'm so sorry about the cancellation. I have no experience with FETs and elevated estrogen, but I have had my fair share of cancelled cycles for various other reasons. It's just so hard to get yourself emotionally prepared only to have to put the brakes. Not to mention the arrangements you already made for meds, appointments...

It just sucks. I'm so sorry. Fx that estrogen gets back into the sweet spot ASAP!!
