Swim diaper size?

My DS wears size 6 pampers cruisers. What size swim diaper should I buy? A few months ago I chose 2t3t little swimmers and they looked like a baby speedo. Thx!

My DS wears size 5 Luvs but needs the large swim diapers from Huggies. I feel like the swim diapers run smaller than normal

DD1 wears size 4 luvs and small in the huggies swimmers.

Just throwing this out there....

You can spend a little less on a cloth swim diaper that will last all summer. The sizes are more of a range, like 18-22lbs, so I find it easier to get a better fit. I really like the Kushies ones since they have both a velcro closure and a tie too.
