Freestyle Battery

Has anyone had any issues with their Medela Freestyle battery? The last three days mine has been dead, and yesterday and today it died after 15 minutes of use after being plugged in all night.

I'm going to call customer service on my day off tomorrow, but until then I am wondering if any of you have had this issue and if anything you did helped. The whole point of the pump is to be portable and if I have to plug it in all the time it defeats the purpose!

I had this exact issue.  My battery was not charging at all and I had to keep it plugged in.  I called customer service and they replaced the motor part and battery. It has something to do with the battery not communicating with the motor.  Check and make sure your battery logo is blinking when you plug it in.  Take out the battery for a few minutes and then replace it.  These are all thing Me.dula is going to tell you to do.  GL call soon bc mine was on back order for 2 weeks

This happened to me. I called the help line and was told to plug my pump in and leave it plugged in for 24 hours because the battery prob got loose. This worked. The same issue happened again so I called medela and told them I can't keep recharging for 24 hours. They sent me a new pump overnight! I would ask them to send you a new one. You have to mail your old one back.

I had the same issue. Take the battery out to reset it and then plug it in for 24 hours.

After I wrote this yesterday, my pump completely shut down even though it was plugged in. I called medela and they are overnighting me a new one. Hopefully this one is good!
