Mini pill

I've been on the mini pill for 3 weeks and felt really comfortable with that decision. However, my LO ever since I started it my used to be flawless baby girls face is now COVERED in baby acne. I thought it would balance out but it just seems to be getting worse, acne even covering her ears! I hate the thought that I could be doing this to her.

Has anyone's had this reaction? What non hormonal BC are you taking? What do you like about it?

Baby acne is usually caused by a number of factors, not just Mom's hormones. Usually, acne can be caused by estrogen and not progesterone/progestin which is what the mini pill is made of. 

Try washing her face with water a few times a day and patting it dry.

Been on mini pill for 3 weeks. I had some acne show up the first week or so on myself but that has gotten better. I also have had horrible headaches. Luckily I haven't seen any reaction from my LO.

Acne can be caused by any hormonal fluctuations, not just estrogen.

I heard baby acne is their pours opening up for the first time. It goes away. I did not do anything for my LO. Be sure not to use any acne products!
