Hi ladies!  With a little lurking, I "see" several familiar faces, but a lot of ladies I don't recognize, so I wanted to do a quick intro.

Our beautiful baby boy was born last Friday, June 14th!  His EDD was originally July 4th, but I was seeing MFM for growth scans and his growth started to slow around week 32.  After virtually no growth from week 35 to week 37, Phillip was born via planned c-section!  My sweet little guy weighed 3lbs 7.8oz and measured 17 1/4 inches long (he's all leg!!).  We were quite shocked b/c he was estimated to be at least 4lbs 4oz, but obviousy that wasn't the case.  (We were also told the entire time that he was a girl, so he was obviously FULL of surprises for mommy and daddy lol) 

I was discharged last night, but we are rooming in with him at the hospital until he goes home.  We're not sure when that will be just yet, but he's eating like a champ and has gained back his birthweight except for .1 oz!  He's currently in an isolette in our room just to keep him from burning extra calories to stay warm.  He's actually never had temperature regulation issues, which I'm extremely thankful for. 

So that's a little about me and the little boy who is now my universe :)

    Congratulations and welcome! That must have been quite a shock finding out she was a he!
    3 ectopic pregnancies (EDD's 1/30/12-tube removed, 6/2/12-methotrexate and 10/2/12-methotrexate)
    IVF and Natural FET resulted in BFN's and a hole in our wallets
    Natural BFP #4 on 9/7/12 gave us our miracle on 5/18/13

    Congratulations. I'm sure having a boy was such a surprise and exciting. I'm hoping you didn't wash too many girl clothes. I hope Phillip continues to grow and gets to go home sooner than later

    Congrats Kiki!  I'm glad to hear Philip is doing well  so far and am especially glad to hear you're able to room in with him!  I had a boarder room next to the NICU during my LO's stay but I was only able to have in my room the last few days.  It made SUCH a difference to have him so close by.  Enjoy your little boy and I hope you'll all be home together soon!
