For use: aplix

For durability: snaps

For my DD I had a stash of 3.0 aplix and elemental snaps and both DH and I always reached for the aplix first.  If I were buying a whole stash again I would buy all snaps though. I imagine they stay nicer looking longer with no snags and I just don't like sewing so don't want to have to replace tabs. (Though admittedly it wasn't the worst project.)

I have BG 4.0, and DH and I like the snaps, but the aplix is what I leave for a babysitter.

Snaps all the way. We had all velcro BGs and it wore out within a few months, so I eventually converted them all to snaps.

Snaps for sure.  The Velcro gets worn very quickly.

Aplix! Faster on my wiggle worm and I get a better fit.

I think it's a whole lot easier to put on an aplix closing diaper. But like pp have said, it gets worn looking a whole lot faster.

Right now I have 2 aplix BGs and 2 snap BGs that I've used for less than a month (they're worn at least every other day) and I can already start to see how the aplix won't last.

It makes me sad - I think daycare, dh and other babysitters would have a much easier time w/ an all aplix stash. But when I ordered 6 new dipes yesterday, I got the snap version. I think they'll be easier to sell when we're done that way, too.
