Hi everyone,

I'm new here. This is my first post ever. I've stalked these sites for years and read many inspirational stories and they often helped me to not feel alone. I finally took the plunge and decided that since we are going to start ttc #2 that I did not want to go through the journey again alone. 

 

Some history: We have male factor infertility. We've done 2 IUI's (Failed), God Knows how many rounds of Clomid, and a approximately 4 years of just good ol' fashioned BD-ing the au natural way. We gave up completely when we conceived DS. I was we were absolutely blindsided by our BFP. It wasn't even on my radar.   

 

Anyway - DH and I are both terrified that DS was a "fluke" so we decided to try again, sooner, rather than later.

 

I'm on the tail end of a 40 day cycle right now. AF is later than usual (I checked several times BFNs) So I drank a ton of red raspberry leaf tea yesterday to see if I could induce it and I think it might work. I've had cramps all day today. Hopefully tomorrow will be CD1.

Welcome to the board, glad you decided to join us.  IF sucks and it's great to not have to "go it alone".  Hope your cycle starts soon, and you can get to ttc and your next baby without too much waiting.

Thank you for your kind words of welcome : All my real life friends are super duper fertile and I love them but, you really don't understand this unless you've been through it. And I went through some dark days last time we went on this journey. I just feel like I need to be able to talk to people who "get" it.

I'm new here after lurking for years as well, and I'm sorry you are here.  My first post was here and everyone was very supportive, so I hope you find some comfort too.  2IF is a different beast, and it sucks.  Good luck.

 It's nice to "meet" you too.  We're just starting cycle 18.  I've had an HSG and my husband had an SA, both of which were all clear.  I've done 3 rounds of Clomid and we have a referral for an RE in mid July.  Hopefully we'll get some answers, and hopefully you'll get another miracle!

Glad you found the right board!  Some of the Trouble TTC moms get real nasty if you don't know that you're in the wrong place...seriously glad you found us, and babydust to you too!

I remember clomid it made me so weepy! we aren't going back to a specialist right away. Since our son was conceived by a happy accident 4 years after trying though we're going to see if we can't hit the lottery again. I know it's a long shot. But, we just can't afford treatments. it's just not an option right now. So I ordered Count Boost, Fertiliad, a mass quality of home pregnancy tests and I broke out the old trusty Clearblue easy fertility monitor that I paid an arm and a leg for but never got a chance to use bc apparently it isn't accurate on the clomid ?

But I'm 8 days late and not pregnant so that's annoying.

and yes, I saw that some ppl get peeved if u go to the wrong board. That's kinda lame.

It's sad that IF is so closeted. I'm very in the closet about it but, part of me wants to scream it at the rooftops and bring more awareness to the cause. I'm looking forward to all the support and advice and hopefully a few laughs we can bring each other :
