double stroller

Hi! Can someone recommend a double stroller for an infant and a toddler.
My daughter will be 3 when baby is born, but she just loves to run around when I take her out of her stoller. So, when i'm out and about with both kids by myself i'm going to need to have them both in one place....any recommendations?
TIA

Re: double stroller

  • It really depends on your life style and where you'll use the stroller the most. Do you need lots of storage? Do you need something light weight, something that can fit into tighter space? Do you want something your car seat can attach to? What's your budget?

  • I'll probably need it most for malls, trips to the zoo, basically places where I'll be for more than half an hour. Since I've never used a double stroller I just wanted to know what some of you have used, what you love or hate about it. Budget wise, I would prefer if it didn't go above 300

I am in the same boat. DS will be 3 when DD is born. We will be needing one mostly for trips to the Farmer's Market and Disneyland (anywhere I want him contained), so I think we will be going with a Sit N Stand, as I don't know exactly how much longer DS will want to even be in a stroller.

I don't need a jogging stroller, as I am not a runner and I think we want something that might 'grow' with us as a family, so that is why I am leaning towards a Sit N Stand type.

Like PP said, it really depends on what you want to use it for.

  • If your going to be using it in malls allot I'd get a tandom type not the the side by side type. A sit and stand type might be the way to go. I have a Phil and teds double and love love love it by we're a very active family and need the of roading capabilities of this type of stroller.
  • With a three year old, I would get a sit n stand. I have a joovy caboose ultralight, I really like it.
  • Thanks!! I'm going to look into the sit n' stand
