Intro...dilated loop of bowel@28 wks

So here is a little backstory... 20 week u/s showed hyperechoic bowel (tested negative for infection, not a carrier for CF, did mat21 test and results were normal)

24 week u/s showed brightness had shrunk

28 week u/s  showed a dilated loop of bowel, which means I see a high risk specialist on the 24th.   My OB said I needed to see a specialist to see exactly what was going on and couldn't really tell me much more until then... 

trying to stay away from google...but it's hard... 

Has anyone been through this?  Just looking for some support and hoping my little girl is ok

Bowel and right now LO is doing ok. The loop is basically an obstruction that can happen spontaneously and the issue is it can either clear itself or perforate. You need to be monitored every week and get in with a pedi specialist for them to take a look also you will need to deliver somewhere with a level 3 nicu and talk to the docs about what they will do upon delivery a lot of ppl deliver via emerg c section because the bowel is about to perforate. Some LO get delivered get enemas and it flushes itself out

I will actually be having a csection already dd1 was delivered that way. I am seeing a specialist on Thursday now they had an opening. I know my hospital is a level 4, I believe. Did you have to get a specialt pediatrician? I'm on my phone so can't see your ticker, but how many weeks are you? Or how many mos is your LO? How many weeks did u deliver at?

I am 24 weeks and haven't delivered yet. We have already been to children's hospital to see someone. My MFM has already told me all this and I did a ton of research. My sister has multiple birth defects so this isn't my first rodeo dealing with this.
