DD is teething and last night was awful. I finally gave her tylenol at 3 AM after she had been up for a while. So she went back to sleep soon after. I felt bad I didn't give it to her sooner to make her comfortable and get her (and me) some sleep.
Clearly I'm not against giving her Tylenol but I don't want to overdo it. How many nights should I give her Tylenol before bed?? Or should I wait to see if she wakes in the middle of the night and give it to her then?
Anyone else's LO have awful congestion during teething? She is so stuffy and it seems worse now that she's teething! Not sure if coincidental or if teething is causing her congestion.
Re: Tylenol for Teething
I give him Tylenol only when it's really bad, which is usually the day before the tooth cuts. But if she's in pain, I say give it to her. Just don't go above the limit of what you can give in one day, obviously. But a few nights in a row won't hurt her.
For daytime teething try Sophie the Giraffe from Babies R Us. She's expensive but worth it!!!!
