Boy name: Reid

I LOVE it! As soon as we found out we were pregnant, we knew right away we wanted Reid for a boy.. but we're having a girl.. sooo

My older brother's name is Reed. I've always loved his name.

It was on my list, but DH vetoed it.  I think it goes well with Owen.

I'm not a fan. It just doesn't seem like an actual name to me, hard to picture someone with this name. I really don't like the spelling, much prefer Reed. It makes me think of a jock in HS. I love your DS's name though!

Just wanted to add I think it goes well wih Owen which I also like and I would definitely use the Reid spelling.

I like it. It was on our long list for DS1. We ended up scratching it because we thought it sounded a little mature for a little kid. The only association I have with it is from Fantastic 4.

I really liked this name when deciding what to name our DS. What made me scratch it was the fact that it's a daily word. Also, DH pointed out there's room for teasing if he isn't so good at reading... As a teacher, that had me convinced! Just some food for thought.

My husband's name is Reade (family name - he's a fourth) and I love it!

DS is Reed so obviously I love it but don't name your son it. I do not want his name to become popular. ;Owen was on our list for this one but its gotten really popular.

I love it!  I wish we could use it, but our LN begins with R and it doesn't sound right.  I also love Owen though too and that's on our consideration list.
