My husband had varicocele and hydrococele surgery in feb due to zero sperm, the 3 month follow up showed no sperm as well. So we are benched until the next three month follow up in August. So sick of waiting, taking a much needed vacation this week to get our minds off of it. Hoping for positive results in August.
I feel like everyone I know is pregnant and it's really been bothering me lately. I'm usually much more okay with it. Sorry to rant, tough if week.
Any good tips for those who are benched due to poor/no sperm?

I'm sorry I don't have any good advice to share. We've been 'benched' since late March so to speak when we found out how bad his SA was. It's rough waiting and knowing that we have pretty much no chance on our own right now, but I keep thinking that maybe things are improving without us knowing and that when we do go back we'll get some good news and his numbers will have greatly improved. Right now I just try to stay busy and not think about it, which is of course easier said than done. I'm so ready for July to hurry up and get here, so we find out some answers.
Me: 27 Dh: 35 Testing Begins 3/5/13
Six SA's show DH has low numbers across the board = severe MFI
Genetic testing for me = MTHFR+, also carrier for blood clotting disorder Otherwise all else normal
Dh's karotype= Normal!!

Baby boy arrived 11/13/14!
Being benched is hard and heart breaking. We were only benched once the day of IUI because of low sperm, so I have no azoo miracle response for you. But I do know the waiting game plenty from our looong breaks. Personally, I've made lists. I'm a list girl. What needs to be fixed up or cleaned in your house? What books would you like to read? What personal projects would you like to accomplish (new playlists on iTunes, scrapbook etc)? What should you pack for your vacation?
I find that making a list, and then working my way through a list is satisfying and keeps my head away from all IF all the time...but that's me.
IUI#4 1/23/13 on 75iu x9 Follistim = BFP then chem preg m/c (Feb 2013)

My husband also has varicocele although our urologist felt it was too serious of a surgery for him to go through because we had some sperm present. So I can imagine what your poor husband has gone through and really have sympathy for him! They initially treated my husband with HCG but we saw little improvement with it. In January the urologist started him on 25mg of Clomid a day and we have seen improvements with that. His post wash count increased from less than 1 million to 15 million and his mobility increased from 13% to 65%, it maybe something to talk to his urologist about.
The waiting part of fertility is the worst, but if I could go back I may have waited a while longer for SA improvement prior to starting some of our IUI?s cycles, there is nothing worse than going through the whole cycle and having the SA return incredibly low.
Hang in there friend and fingers crossed that his numbers show improvement soon.
