Rolling during diaper changes

Alexis loves to roll over onto her stomach during diaper changes.  She does it every time I lay her down.  Even if I get her back over she is back on her stomach 2 seconds later.  I'm starting to get good at putting her diaper on when she is on her tummy, but it is a pain to clean her up good after a poopy diaper when she is on her tummy.  Anyone lo doing the same or similar or any suggestions.  Thanks in advance.

Yupp... I remember LauraT summed it up nicely... changing has become a rodeo.  Like PP, I give DD a toy and hope it doesnt end up in her poo.

I am a mean mommy. I hold her feet up with my left hand, so I put my elbow on her torso and hold her down. LOL if we are not in a rush or not in public I will let her waller around nekkid for a minute. Otherwise I pretty much grit my teeth and do what I gotta do.

I'm with HALO and I'm also a mom and a HALO SleepSack wearable blanket user.  Halo has a new product called SwaddleChange Diaper Pad Covers, which is basically a diaper change cover with built in swaddle wings.  It is designed to help keep your baby on her back and her hands away from her diaper area.  It's definitely worth a try!

I missed this thread and posted my own but we are in the same boat.  I need to find a changing pad for on the floor with a chest harness type strap or something.  My son is super fast and impossible to restrain.  Everyone in the family dreads when he has a poo diaper.
