Would you pick a name your mom hates??

My Mom and I are very close but when I was first PG the names she suggested were sooo not our style so Yes- I would use a name she hated! Incidentally MIL hated one of the names we had picked out for DS and I regret sometimes that it influenced our final decision- If we ever had another DS, being 7 yrs older and wiser!- We would absolutely use the name.
