Potty Training Question

Potty Training Insight: So we started potty training my daughter (turned 2 last month) on Saturday. She is doing pretty well considering we are only on day 3. This morning however she told DH she had to go pee pee and sat on the potty but when she pee'd (and it was a big one) she cried. Is this normal or could she have a UTI? 

Yesterday she seemed to say she had to pee all the time and we were running her to the toilet like every 10 mins but she didn't pee.  I'm wondering if maybe it hurts or if this is just part of the process of understanding her body.
