The train story is hysterical and awesome! DD has been going for the tables with her mouth lately, and I've been stopping her. As much as I don't want her to lick/chew on them, I'd kinda like her to have the same experience so she'll stop on her own. I'd enjoy the laugh too, but I'm not sure if I can stop myself from stopping her!
Mama to 5 angel babies, 1 rainbow baby, and 2 more angel babies.
My beautiful Ella/ToT arrived 10/10/12.
Re: ****Karen****
I'm glad you liked it! We tried and tried and tried to stop him, but he was unshakable. He licked everything for a while. Thank God he never licked a train floor. (shudders)
On that same trip, I ran over a spider with the stroller on the way into the hotel. By the time we got to our room, I forgot to check to see if it was still on the wheel. I put the stroller up and we started playing on the other side of the room. Little eagle-eyed child spotted the spider and hauled it over to it. It took me a few seconds to figure out why he was crawling so fast to the stroller. Then, it hit me. As I ran towards him, I yelled, "NOOOOOO!!!!!" He sped up. Before I could get to him, he grabbed the spider carcass and shoved it into his mouth. I literally grabbed his hand a half second too late. I about died. You know what he did next? He laughed at me. He kept laughing as I scraped the pieces out of his mouth. I was in a panic because I didn't know if the spider was poisonous or not. DH thought I was nuts. In the end, though, the kid is fine.
