Anyone OAD with stepkids (intro too!)?

Hi!  I'm OAD for financial, age, and high risk pregnancy reasons.  My DH and I have a 13 year age difference between us (he's older) and I get cholestasis of pregnancy which comes with a risk of stillbirth.  We can easily provide for the children we have and offer great opportunities for them, but another child would come with a sacrifice for everyone financially.

 I have two wonderful stepkids (SD 13, SS 11) and then my DD (10 months).  The stepkids adore DD which is wonderful.  I could not ask for better siblings for her.

I've discovered some unique feelings about being OAD with stepkids and am just wondering if I am the only one here in this situation!?!?!
