I posted on the IF board as well, but I am so upset right now I am seeking answers. Sorry to double post.
So here is my dumb question.
If I am bleeding very heavily 4 days after my ET it means it didn't work right? I am just totally devastated. I though that if it wasn't going work then I would get my period in a week or so.

Typically if you are on any progesterone support you won't get a period until you discontinue that. Hang in there, the two week wait is brutal!

I did not experience this at all! I was put on progesterone 3 days after my IUI. On 11dpiui, I started my flow (heavy), but continued to take progesterone until my beta which was the next day. To my surprise (while still having heavy AF), I got a positive beta. Extremely low, but there. It doubled in 36 hours. I have another beta this afternoon.

 I don't have any hopes for this to go far, but my RE said that I could not be mc(ing) and then have a positive beta. I could have implanted late, shed most of the lining, or had a second one that did not take. Not sure how much I believe all of that, but it's more of a theory than I can think of.

Keep taking the progesterone just in case and wait for the beta. IF sucks...especially with all of the waiting. I'm in beta limbo hell right now. I just wish it was one way or the other that  way I could plan and move on.

Bleeding after an IVF cycle, while pregnant, is MORE common than you think.  have you taken a test?
