Hi ladies! I hope you don't mind me asking a question from the IF board!
I've always ready that the uttering lining should be between 8-12 for the best results. Well, at my monitoring appointment yesterday, it was already at a 14 on day 8 of stims. Is there such a thing as too thick? I've looked it up and have gotten mixed information. I have my next monitoring appointment tomorrow so I'll ask then, but of course, IF brain has to keep me worried about something at all times! The RE didn't say that he was concerned about it yesterday, so it might be fine, but won't it continue to grow until ET? Sweet heavens, if it isn't one thing, it's another!
Did anyone here have a thicker lining and still have a successful IVF?

Re: XP: Lining Question
I had a similar issue. Around day 7 of stims, my lining was around 12 or 13. My RE apparently cancels ET if the lining gets too think since some studies have shown an overly thick lining also affects implantation. However, at least for me, it reached its thickest around day 7 or 8 of stims and then just stayed there, and so we were fine. Hopefully, yours doesn't get too much thicker or just stays where it is! Also, you can find TONS of stories online where women had a thicker lining (like 17 or 18) and did just fine.
Also, I was doing specific uterine blood flow acupuncture treatments at the same time, and I know the u/s tech commented that she usually sees pretty thick lining when women do that. Any chance you're doing something like that? I think my last treatment with that protocol coincided with the lining not getting any thicker.
Either way, good luck!
