**weemodin**

Your response to the "how long did you last" thread sounds exactly like my situation now!  I'm at 7 weeks and ready to quit, I spend 1.5 of every 3 on nursing, bottles, and pumping.  Every time they finish eating I feel guilty because I have to put them down somewhere to go pump.  Your reasoning (time with kids vs. pump) totally just set off a lightbulb for me... I might need to follow your lead.

We are giving them formula supplements now (since I don't make enough milk) and they spit up a little bit more the more formula (less milk) that they get. Did you find that it wasn't really that much worse with all formula?  What kind are you using?

  • Yeah, it sucked.  I was always so envious of the women on here with freezer stashes... I always had to supplement at least 50%.

You've got to do what's right for you.  I found that my kids spit up quite a bit with the enfamil concentrate.  They do much better on powdered formula.  We have them on the Kirkland brand formula (from Costco) and they do well on it.  DS has reflux, so he spits up no matter what, but it doesn't have anything to do with the formula.

Good luck!!!  And try not to feel guilty if you have to quit pumping.
