I had a labor gown but didn't use it the first time. you should get whatever you want and what feels right, you'll know on the day if you want to wear it and then you can have your options!
Pretty pushers! Www.prettypushers.com less than $30 a oworker got it for me hot pink with matching headbands affordable and cute has openings front and back for fetal heart rate monitor and epidural for me my preference is I do not want to wear a Johnny I work in hospitals so this is my preference, ladies support each other there's no right or wrong with mommy decisions
Super late to this, but I just wanted to add... I threw up on myself during labor, and during one puke fest, also lost bladder control and peed all over myself. I obviously had to change gowns at that point. So unless you plan on buying multiples, be prepared that your gown
may not make it until delivery. I'm also
fairly sure that my hospital would not
have allowed me to wear my own
gown if I'd gone that route. I had an
epidural and they needed full back
access, I had to leave my bra off, etc.
Really and truly, when you're in labor,
you won't give a flying fluck what
you're in.
There is no flucking way I am going without some kind of support for my breasts! No flucking way!!!!!
I wore 2 motherhood sleep bras during labor, epidural and c-section. They let me wear them the whole time. They were stretchy enough that the nurse just held them up and out while they were doing the epidural. I personally would not do labor without some sort of support. The sleep bras worked well because the were worn out anyway so if they got ruined or had to be cut off it wouldn't have mattered. Also they are thin enough that they could be easily cut off if needed.

I truly don't understand buying something to just ruin it... but whatever. I wore a sports bra under the gown and was able to wear it during my section. I also didn't want no support and my hospital was fine with it. I'll do the same thing this time, Pretty Pushers looks ridiculous. How are you going to be walking around trying to labor in that? Idiotic.
oh my goodness... what a pose on the model with the hot pink "pretty pusher" on. Now THAT is what makes me want to buy that.
Honestly, OP, while you may not like some of the responses here, a lot of the BTDT moms are just trying to help you save some money and are giving you realistic reasons why it's not a good idea.
You are such a rude lady , I guess everyone should never ask any questions in fear that they may get completely called out by you. Who cares if she wants to be fashionable anyway ? Its not the end of the world , to each their own .
