My son was born 6 weeks early and is currently 5 weeks old and about to hit his due date on the 20th. He's ccurrently eating 2-3oz every 3-4 hours and even to eat that is a struggle as we still have to constantly wake him up to finish his bottle. Anyways my question is when did your preemie start sleeping through the night? I know preemies take a little longer because they need to eat more often to catch up but am wondering when he sleep a little longer at night? TIA

I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929
Our girls have gradually increased the amount of sleep between feedings -- granted, with two, it requires the stars aligning to get much more than 4 hours at a time.
I'd say around 3 months adjusted we started seeing the first sleep stretch creeping closer and closer to 5, even 6 hours -- but, just last night, we were still up twice -- midnight and 4:30AM. So, I think we're still a ways away from getting these ladies to STTN -- but the 4-5 hour stretches at a time are pretty dang nice.
As far as I'm concerned, one overnight wake-up is STTN in our house.
