I like it. As for if it's too common, I think that depends on where you live and who you hang out with. No one I know has a little one named Hannah, so I would use it. If you know several, then it might be more common in your area.

My cousin's name is Hannah Louise - and Louise is after my/her grandmother. Thought that was a little funny : ) I've always liked the names together.

Popularity doesn't impact my choices, I don't really care if ours has a popular name in the future.  But for some it bothers, so base it on yourself.  Hannah is definitely popular, but I LOVE it.
