I wish that was my case...I'm 21w3d and have gained 14 lbs. I gained 7 of those pounds in 3 weeks!
My doctor laughed at me when I was shocked. He says "that's it?"
I have an app on my phone that tracks my weight, and I am within the normal range for my pre-pregnancy weight. So, I'm trying not to freak out too much.
I am 24 weeks and have gained 10-11 pounds. I was normal/thin pre-pregnancy. My doctor said I am right where I should be, so I am assuming you are too--assuming you were a normal BMI pre-pregnancy.
I'm 22w3d, and as of trip to Urgent Care yesterday I have officially gained back the 4 lbs I lost in the beginning of my pregnancy, making me the same weight as when I started. But I started out heavy to begin with, so it's not a big deal. I'm only supposed to gain max 10 lbs throughout my pregnancy, so I'm happy with my progress. Everybody is different, and as long as your OB is happy with how your progressing, thats the important thing.
I've gained about 20 lbs so far(I think, I stopped looking at the scale), but I don't look like I've gained that much so far. Most of it has gone to the girls I think and a good chunk of it is probably water weight. My Ob hasn't been worried yet, and I'm exercising regularly. I think I'm gaining more just because of being in the military and have been so rough on my body the last 2 years that it wants to make sure I've got enough for the kid. I am not looking forward to dropping the weight after the kid is born the military though. Ugh not going to be fun.
I don't know? I think around 10? I really try to eat healthy and I'm still exercising quite a bit. I figure everyone has a different range and our docs will let us know if there is an issue! I was worrying about it at first but I'm trying not to look at my weight when I go in and just enjoy the pregnancy experience!
20 weeks and 7 lbs. Little guy weighed 12 oz at my appointment Tuesday. My doctor said she doesn't fret too much about the weight gain as long as the baby is ok.
As of this morning, at 21 weeks 1 day, I have gained 29 pounds. I'm carrying twins and was thin to begin with so my mfm told me not to freak out, although I think that is on the high side even for twins. :sigh: My goal weight gain is 45 lbs by 36/37 weeks but at my current rate of weight gain, its looking it will be more like 50+
Thank you to ladies who posted and have gained more than 2 lbs and are helping me not feel like a lardass.
23 wks 20 lbs.
I'm convinced 5 or 6 of those are boobs alone, the boobies have gotten mountainous.
I'm with you on the girls! They have hit another growth spurt lately. It's a running joke at work that they don't know I'm pregnant until my belly is bigger than the girls. That might be awhile!
EVERY woman is different as is every pregnancy. I gained 25 pounds with my first LO, but it all came on at the end, it seemed.
Agree. Like my last pregnancy, I've only gained about 7lbs at 21 weeks. But when it was all said and done, I gained 24lbs. And actually, 29lbs total if you count the 5 I gained back after losing weight during the first few weeks of pregnancy.
It will come. Some just gain it later in pregnancy...some earlier.

To be fair, I started out as a lard , so you shouldn't feel that way because of me! Lol
