How many swaddle sacks and what sizes?

On my registry I currently have 4 swaddle sacks - 2 Woombies (one newborn and one big baby size) and 2 Summer Infant SwaddleMes (one small/medium and one large). Do I really need 4? I was thinking that if the baby didn't like one brand, we'd have the other, but it sorta seems overkill.

We had 2 of each size so that we always had a clean one. DD liked the halo one we got at the hospital so we stuck with those.

I'll have 5 all together: 2 swaddle sacks and 3 swaddlemes just to see what LO prefers initially...whatever helps her sleep best!

I am only getting 1 of each brand of the smaller size that he'll wear as a newborn.  I figure I'll buy the larger sizes once I know which he prefers.

I got two and never once touched them. I am glad I didn't get any more!

We got 3 different kinds plus like 4 hand me down swaddles and haven't used any of them.  DD hates the swaddle sacks.  Only thing we use are the A&A blankets and swaddle with her hands out.

I wouldn't get any large size ones yet. We LOVED swaddlemes. We had 4 or 5 but they are not for every baby so don't get carried away until you know what works. I'd start with 2 small but don't take the tags off the second so you can exchange it.

I'm sticking to newborn size and small size. Just getting the summer infant swaddleMe, 4 of them and one sleep sack swaddle. My friend had great success with her baby I am hoping for the best with mine! May just open one and wash it befor with open all of them just in case I need to return.
