I apologize if my questions have been answered before and if so please point me in right post direction!
My daughter is now 4 months old. Such a blessing, she was conceived through IVF after my DOR diagnosis. Two years ago my AMH was 0.32 and I will turn 39 next week. We would like to conceive again. I hope I do not sound greedy. We do not have any frosties (6 eggs retrieved, 4 fertilized, 3transferred, 1did not make it to freeze).
I am still breastfeeding my daughter and have not had AF return yet. I will wean her at 6 months. I plan to see the RE within the next month to begin to plan next steps. My question/s are have any of you been in this situation (still BF no period) and what did you do next? Did you get period back quickly once stopped BF? Are there ways to start your cycle quickly or did you just have to wait until your body started again? Did you find that your AMH had lowered greatly after pregnancy? Do you think I stand a chance?
If these questions are too personal to post, please PM me if you can share. Thanks in advance!
Happy weekend and Happy Father's Day!

My goal was to BF a year and at 11 months I still had no cycle. We made our first appt with the RE anyway because we didn't think FET was financially an option for another year but wanted to find out our options. As it turned out, our insurance changed for the better so I started cutting pumping sessions. AF showed when I was down to 4 pumping/nursing sessions a day...about a month after that appt. My RE said as long as I was BF they couldn't do anything to jumpstart it, but if you are fully weaned they can jumpstart it with provera. Since it was FET I never asked my AMH levels, but was not told any new problems had appeared in my testing.
2 years, 2 surgeries, 2 clomid fails, 2 IUIs, 1 loss, IVF #1 - 10/25/10 = BFP!, DS is now 3.5yrs!
TTC #2 - 6/12 surgery #3, FET #1 & 1.2 = BFN, 12/2012 FET #2 = BFP! DD is 1.5 yrs!
Surprise! 12/16/14 BFP, loss #2 12/31/14
I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929
I planned to do a FET when DD was 8 months old and had started decreasing BF; my other DDs BF until about 10 months but I had gotten AF around 6 mos pp both of those times.) This time, I finally got tired of waiting at about 9 months and completely stopped BFing so I could take provera. I got AF 5 days later. DD3 eats like a machine and was being supplemented anyway, so it wasn't too bad. And the FET didn't work, so I'm glad I didn't wait longer since we're having to sit out a cycle due to the facility maintenance or something. I've had 3 vaginal deliveries, so that may be a factor.
