shower for 2

So i am 26 weeks with my second. We have a 19 mo old little boy and are now expecting a girl. Just wondering if anyone had a shower for their second baby. No one has mentioned it to me about doing one so is it the norm to only have one for your first? Thanks!!

A baby shower is to welcome you to motherhood and shower you with gifts. Etiquette dictates you only get one.

Confession: I didn't know it was tacky to have a shower for a second child until I joined TB.

I have, however, heard of people having "sprinkles," or mini-showers that aren't quite as big of a deal as you might have for a first baby.  

I don't plan on having a shower this time around but I will register for some odds and ends that aren't quite as expensive (extra bottles, etc.) in case anyone feels the need to buy us a gift.

I have 3 kids I never had a baby shower for them I have 2 boy and 1 girl what my oldes have my now 9 month old has but I did have to get everything for the girl
