Melts my heart: name
Ever since I watched 8 Seconds as a kid I knew without a doubt my son would be named Lane. Found this today and realized how much love is going into that:
"We were in an airport in Utah and
I overheard a woman talking to her child.
I couldn't quite understand her, so I said,
"Did you call him Lane?"
She said "Yes, he's named after Lane Frost."
It kinda puts a lump in your throatevery time."

Also I plan on putting his name above his crib with a quote from Lane's wife under it:
"The story of Lane Frost is a simple one.
He'd help in the chutes, never said no to a fan,
never kicked at the earth or threw his hat in public
after an unfair low score.
A good friend, a good husband."
