I'm 35 weeks today! Baby is the size of as honeydew.

Appointments this week include an OB appointment and NST on Tuesday, and an NST and BPP on Friday. We'll also hopefully schedule our induction this week.

We did have as Baby shower for this lo. It was bitter sweet. I was so thankful to have so many people celebrate the coming of our baby girl, but I felt guilty at the same time because we never got to do that for baby Gary. Also I felt a lot more pressure and worry about losing this baby once I had all this baby stuff in our home.

This week I'm just looking forward to school ending, setting an induction date and getting through the next two weeks so that we can meet our daughter.

Do you have any upcoming appointments or milestones? Anatomy scan two weeks from tomorrow!

QOTW: Will you be having a baby shower for this baby? Most likely no-we already have just about everything we need, and I think even a "sprinkle" would be too much for me emotionally. Even though I am grateful to be pregnant again and enjoying seeing this baby grow, I won't feel comfortable celebrating until he or she is born. 

Open Topic. What is on your mind this week? I started to feel movement about a week ago, which has been really nice. I've been thinking about Julian a lot lately. DH's grandmother passed away and the funeral was this weekend. DH talked about Julian in the eulogy. We didn't have a memorial service or funeral after Julian was born, so this was the first time we've acknowledged his death in a public forum. It was hard, but I'm glad that he did it.

Eight weeks today. Still not sure what fruit...raspberry?

Do you have any upcoming appointments or milestones?

Had an appointment this past Tuesday, which showed a growing baby and a strong heartbeat. I'm starting to relax a little bit, maybe. Next appointment is July 9.

QOTW: Will you be having a baby shower for this baby?

I'm not sure. We barely bought anything for Devon because we were just going to re-use what we had from my DS, JJ. But we'll now need to replace the car seat since I'm afraid the one we used for JJ is now more than five years old, and if we have a girl, we'll need all new stuff. My sister has talked about throwing me one, but I'm not sure if I want it.

This pregnancy has been rough, and I think most of it has been because of my emotions. I'm just waiting for the other shoe to drop and to lose this baby, even though I've never had an early loss before. This is a lot harder than I thought it would be, but I did start to breathe a little easier after my last u/s showed a baby measuring a week ahead.
