After much (and I mean MUCH) prayer, debate, worry, more prayer, etc., DH and I have decided to put adopting on hold.  After everything that's happened (original plan closing, differences in costs and outcomes with other programs, etc) we feel that God is leading us in a different direction.  We will revisit adoption when our biological children are older and we feel more capable to consider a child with special needs or a sibling group. 

But for now, we're taking a break.  It is possibly one of the most painful decisions of my life, but I'm resting in the Lord that it is the right one.

Sorry to see you go! It's definitely been a crazy ride for you guys, and I'm sure it was really hard to come to your decision. I'm glad that you can feel peace about your decision! Praying for you!
