Scheduled C-Section

Hi~

   I am pregnant with #2 and will be doing a RCS.  I go next week for my 32 weeks appointment and ultrasound.  When was your C-Sections scheduled?  This appointment?  Later? I'm just curious....thanks!

My OB's office will schedule RCS whenever the patient wants to get it "on the books."  The scheduled date just has to be when the patient is a minimum of 39 weeks or later.

I started trying to schedule around 30 weeks but the surgeon kept rescheduling my consult appointment. I think I was 34 weeks when we officially got it on the books.

 

Although I had already discussed the date with my OB and she had me penciled in on that date.

My last was an emergency C-Section so no scheduling involoved, but this time around my OB said we will schedule me at my next appt. I'll be 32 weeks

I got mine scheduled at my 28 week appt. I asked about it though. They usually set up the schedule when you are 28-32 weeks in our clinic so I would say it doesn't hurt to ask. I wanted to get a good day and time if possible. Considering you can't eat/drink after midnight I didn't want to end up with a RCS at like 4 pm.

I scheduled at 31 weeks... My water broke at 31 weeks and one day. Little one does not like schedules

I'm too pregnant with my 2nd as well and I'm also scheduled for a RCS on July24th @ 9:00am. I'm currently 34 weeks and it was scheduled at was yesterday at our 34 week appointment.

With my rcs I scheduled super early. My OB told me around 12ish weeks that I could schedule whenever I wanted. She has her scheduler in the office so I didn't need to go anywhere/talk to anyone else. I think I scheduled around 20-some weeks maybe? The first one was a last minute c/s, not urgent just a "ok I think we need to do this. We'll call you with days" Then she called back and said they could do it tomorrow. That was a freakout.
